The Girijyothi Self Help Group (SHG) Federation successfully held its annual gathering and a significant "Climate Change and Climate Resilient Farming Campaign" on February 15, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the Pavanatma College Auditorium, Murickassery. This landmark event, the first of its kind in Idukki, began with a vibrant rally from St. Mary’s Church Junction to the auditorium, featuring 1500 women carrying placards, wearing campaign hats, and waving flags. Hon. Minister for Water Resources, Mr. Roshy Augustine Flag Offed Climate Conclave Rally. Awards were presented for the best rally performances.

The conclave, themed "Weather Change and Our Need of Change as per Climate," featured engaging activities and informative stalls showcasing various aspects of climate change and sustainable solutions. The event was graced by distinguished guests, including Mar John Nellikunnel, Bishop of Idukki, who presided over the meeting, and Mrs. V. Vigneswari, IAS, the Hon. District Collector, who inaugurated the function.
