It is a crucial government initiative focused on providing safe drinking water in rural areas, is strongly supported by the society. In line with this mission, the society has adopted the Marayoor panchayat and is actively working to educate residents about water safety, its importance, and the dangers of mismanagement. A significant achievement of the society is the facilitation of 3,000 safe water connections to homes in Marayoor. Furthermore, HDS successfully completed 11 water tanks and sub-projects. Their outreach efforts include awareness campaigns conducted in schools, Anganwadi centers, and through rallies and street plays held in villages and public spaces. The society also distributes informational materials such as placards, leaflets, and other IEC resources. To further enhance public awareness, they have also utilized wall paintings along roadsides and in schools.
