Differently Abled Groups

Differently abled groups, comprising individuals with disabilities, are now ten in number and actively engaged with the Society (HDS). These groups were formed under the support of HDS with the primary aim of facilitating interactions with various government departments and ensuring that individuals with disabilities can effectively avail of their rights. While numerous opportunities exist for their empowerment and inclusion, limited awareness and knowledge often hinder them from accessing these benefits. HDS plays a crucial role in advocating for their rights and providing necessary support services. Moreover, HDS facilitates the engagement of well-meaning individuals who are willing to assist these groups, thereby creating a strong support network for the differently abled community.
